[Adopted 6-15-1981 by Ord. No. 575 (Ch. 176, Art. I, of the
1981 Code); amended in its entirety at time of adoption of Code (see
Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II)]
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 55:13A-7.1, every hotel and multiple dwelling
shall be equipped with smoke detectors or smoke alarms, or both, in
conformance with the rules and regulations of the Commissioner of
the Department of Community Affairs.
The enforcement of such installations shall come under the jurisdiction
of the Code Enforcement Officer of the Borough of Lindenwold and the
Uniform Construction Code Act of the State of New Jersey.[1]
