There is hereby created a Condominium Conversion Review and Appeal Board consisting of five members who shall administer the provisions of the Senior Citizens and Disabled Protected Tenancy Act.[2]

The members shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council for three-year terms.

The duties of the members shall be to administer the terms of the Senior Citizens and Disabled Protected Tenancy Act as set forth therein.

Pursuant to and in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:12-1 et seq., there shall be and hereby is established a Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners in the Borough of Lindenwold which shall consist of 12 persons, who must be residents of the Borough of Lindenwold.
A. 
The Borough Council of the Borough of Lindenwold shall appoint 12 members, as outlined below, as members of the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners. The Commissioners are to represent only one group as appointed by the Borough Council. To the extent practicable, the membership of the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners shall include representatives of organized recreation groups in the Borough of Lindenwold, including but not limited to the Lindenwold Board of Education, the Lindenwold Baseball Athletic Association, the Lindenwold Chargers and Spirits, the Lindenwold Boy Scouts, Linden-Boro Cheerleaders, Lindenwold Basketball Association, Lindenwold Soccer Club, and the Celebrations Committee, as well as up to four residents at large. Any new organizations established in the Borough should be considered for membership.
B. 
The terms of the members shall be one year, as members are reappointed at the Borough of Lindenwold's reorganization meeting in January each year. If there is a vacancy the Borough Council will appoint a new Commissioner to serve out that term.[1]

C. 
Members of the Board are subject to removal at any time for any reason, after a hearing by the Mayor and Borough Council.
D. 
No member of the Board shall receive compensation for his or her services.
The following positions shall be elected by the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners at the January meeting each year: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Secretary.
A. 
The Board of Commissioners shall review, approve and schedule all programs, sporting activities and other events that may be appropriate for the residents of the Borough of Lindenwold presented to it by the Celebrations Committee or any other organization.
B. 
The Director of Public Works, or designee, shall have the right and authority close the use of any park area or facility as deemed appropriate.
C. 
In order to carry out these purposes, the Board shall add the following functions:
(1) 
To promote the recreational programs and facilities of the Borough.
(2) 
To recommend to the Mayor and Borough Council plans and programs for the use of Borough recreational facilities, including playgrounds, and local recreational programs for the residents of all ages within the Borough.
(3) 
To act as a coordinating agency to the community on recreational matters and as a liaison between the Borough and local, regional, county or state recreational groups, public or private.
(4) 
To recommend to the Borough Council the establishment of recreational programs and facilities to meet the needs of the residents of the Borough of Lindenwold.
The Board may charge and collect a reasonable fee, to offset costs, from each person or group using any park facility in the Borough of Lindenwold. Fees would be charged according to the schedule in § 224-1E.
The member of Borough Council who is the head of the Public Works and Sewer Authority of Lindenwold shall be the liaison officer between the Borough Council and the Board of Commissioners.
Applications can be obtained from the Borough Clerk and also returned to the Borough Clerk. The Borough Clerk will review for completeness (checklist provided) and date sensitive applications. If the application is incomplete, it will be immediately returned to the applicant and missing information identified. If it is date sensitive, the Chairperson will be immediately notified so a determination can be made to hold an emergency meeting if needed. When a completed application is received it will be given to the Director of Public Works and then delivered to the Board's meeting place.
