A.Â
The Village Board will establish fees for building, plumbing, and
electrical inspections from time to time. Those fees shall be established
by the Village Board and included in the Village's fee schedule.
B.Â
Fees for building, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC permits and inspections.
At the time the application for a building permit or other designated
permit is filed, the applicant shall pay the fees established in the
Village's fee schedule. Note: Permits may be obtained individually
or on one form in the categories of construction, heating, ventilation
and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and signs. An additional
fee for plan review may be assessed at the time of application for
renewal of the permit.[1]
C.Â
Double fees. If work is commenced before a permit is obtained, except in emergencies, the fee shall be doubled. Granting of a permit after work is started shall not relieve the licensee from any liability for a penalty provided in § 135-6. Note: The state fee schedule for commercial building projects, Chs. SPS 361 to 365, Wis. Adm. Code, may be charged in lieu of or in addition to this fee schedule at the Village's discretion.
D.Â
Gross square footage calculations are based on exterior dimensions,
including garage and each finished floor level. In determining costs,
all construction shall be included with the exception of heating,
air conditioning, electrical, or plumbing work. All fee categories
shall be rounded up to the next full dollar amount.[2]
