The following sports equipment is hereby prohibited from being used in and on any public street, roadway or right-of-way of the Borough of Lindenwold:
A. 
Basketball poles and/or nets.
B. 
Bases of any kind.
C. 
Goals and other type netting, i.e., hockey, soccer.
D. 
Similar-type sports equipment.

Any person who shall violate any of the terms or provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties as set forth in Chapter 1, § 1-1, of this Code. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs and/or continues.
In addition to the above penalties, the Municipal Court is authorized to impose fines on the parents and/or guardians of any minors found to have violated this article and/or impose fines on the owner of the property adjoining the offending equipment in an amount not to exceed $200.
The police are authorized to seize any offending equipment placed in violation of this article, if said equipment is not properly removed after notification to the owner or the apparent owner. The Municipal Court shall determine the ultimate disposition of the offending equipment, including up to the destruction of the offending equipment.
