No person, firm, partnership or corporation shall hereafter perform, exhibit, play or show within the geographical boundaries of the Borough of Clifton Heights any carnival, carnival with concessions, show or exhibition, merry-go-round or show of kindred type without first having obtained the consent of Borough Council and the Mayor of the Borough of Clifton Heights in writing.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600, plus costs, and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
