The social security plan and agreement to extend to its employees
the basic protection accorded by the Federal Social Security Act,[1] which amending plan and agreement, consisting of five
pages, is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety and made
part hereof, has been presented to the Board of Township Commissioners
and is hereby approved and accepted with all its terms and provisions,
subject to approval thereof by the Secretary of Labor and Industry,
who is authorized to include the Township of North Versailles in any
modification of the Federal-Commonwealth Agreement entered into between
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Secretary of Health, Education,
and Welfare pursuant to Section 218 of the Federal Social Security
Act.[2]
