Any person, firm or corporation who shall be found guilty of
violating any of the provisions of this article shall be required
to pay a forfeiture of not less than $50 nor more than $150 for each
offense, together with the cost of prosecution, and, in default of
payment of such forfeiture, shall be imprisoned in the county jail
of Washington County until such forfeiture and all costs, including
subsequent costs, have been paid, but not for a greater period than
30 days.
This article shall take effect when official signs giving notice
of such speed limit have been installed and when proof of posting
this article in three public places in the Town has been filed and
recorded in the office of the Town Clerk.
