It shall be unlawful for any person or persons other than an
officer of the law or those persons authorized by the Superintendent
of Maryland State Police in the line of duty, to discharge, except
in self-defense, any firearms, air rifle, BB gun, bow and arrow, or
other shooting device, which could cause personal injury or property
damage within the Town.
It shall be unlawful for any person, other than an officer of
the law or those persons authorized by the Superintendent of Maryland
State Police to carry concealed on his or her person, any revolver,
pistol, brass knuckles, blackjacks, or any other dangerous weapon,
upon the public streets and ways of the Town.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, other than an
officer of the law or those persons authorized by the Superintendent
of Maryland State Police to carry any loaded firearms upon the public
streets and ways of the Town. This shall include BB guns.
Any person violating any provision of this Article, upon conviction,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine not to exceed
$500 or imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or both fine and imprisonment.
