A.
All dumpsters located within the Maplewood Special Improvement District
shall:
(1)
Be equipped with latches which shall latch the lid of the dumpster
to the body of the dumpster. Dumpsters shall be latched at all times;
(2)
The name of the business utilizing a dumpster shall be affixed in
"block letters," at least six inches in height, onto the dumpster
stating the name of the business using the dumpster;
(3)
Dumpsters shall be maintained in good repair with no holes; and
(4)
The area within 10 feet of the rear or side of the business or 10
feet adjacent to the dumpster being used by the business shall be
cleaned at least daily of litter, cigarette butts and garbage.
A.
No dumpster
or sealed garbage compactor located within the Maplewood Special Improvement
District shall be located closer than 10 feet to an entrance/exit
to a retail food establishment.
B.
Any party
violating a provision of this section shall be subject to a fine of
$100 for the first offense, $250 for a second offense and $500 for
the third and any subsequent offense.
