The Union Township Planning Commission is hereby appointed as
the airport zoning planning agency for Union Township, Washington
County.
The airport zoning planning agency shall recommend to the Board
of Supervisors the boundaries of the various zones to be established
in any airport hazard area and recommend the regulations to be adopted
for the various zones of any airport hazard area. When preparing its
recommendations, the airport zoning planning agency shall make a preliminary
report to the Board of Supervisors and, after giving public notice,
shall hold a public hearing or hearings thereon before submitting
its final report to the Board of Supervisors. The notice of public
hearing shall be published once each week for two successive weeks
in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipality.
