Pursuant to § 10 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the
Town Board of the Town of Lowville does hereby adopt this chapter
to provide for publication of summary statements of the texts of all
local laws and all ordinances adopted by this Board. This chapter
supersedes the publication requirements associated with Town Law §§ 133,
134, 264 and 265.
The summary published shall be such as to give adequate and
sufficient information as to the substance of the law or ordinance
and shall note that the complete text of the law is on file with the
Town Clerk and available for public inspection.
