It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any dog owned by or under the control of such person to be at large outside of the boundaries of the premises owned or occupied by such person within the Town of Barton except while such dog is being used for hunting purposes by a duly licensed hunter during the legally established hunting season.
Any person who shall be found guilty of a violation of the provisions of this article shall be required to pay a forfeiture of not less than $25 nor more than $100 for the first offense and not less than $50 nor more than $200 for subsequent offenses.

The Town Board, in the adoption of this article, shall be deemed to have exercised the powers of a Village Board pursuant to the authority granted to it by the electors of the Town.
