Town of Orangetown, NY Article III Fees for Police Department Record Checks

§ 14-6 Requests for record check.

Whenever a request is made of the Orangetown Police Department to supply a record check by anyone authorized by state or federal law to make such request as to a criminal history for purposes such as licensing, permits or job applications, the applicant must complete the form as required by the Orangetown Police Department and adhere to the regulations promulgated by the Chief of Police.

§ 14-7 Fee; when check to be provided.

A. The applicant will pay a fee of $10 for a letter from the Orangetown Police Department providing the criminal history check.

B. The time in which the Orangetown Police Department will provide said record check will be pursuant to regulations established by the Chief of Police.
