If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section, article or part
of this local law or of any local law adopted by the Town of Orangetown
shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such judgment shall not affect, impair nor invalidate the remainder
thereof but shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence,
paragraph, section, article or part thereof directly involved in the
controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
This article and all other local laws of the Town of Orangetown
and all amendments thereto shall take effect upon publishing and posting
and upon filing a copy with the Secretary of State as required by
law.
