1. 
Except where necessary to avoid colliding with other traffic or to comply with the law or the directions of a law enforcement officer, no person shall stop, park or stand a vehicle, or permit a vehicle to be stopped, parked or standing, on a front or side lawn. All vehicles in front and side yards must be parked on the paved portion of a driveway or parking space. This Part applies to all properties in all residential zoning districts in East Lansdowne Borough.
2. 
Except where necessary to avoid colliding with other traffic or to comply with the law or the directions of a law enforcement officer, no person shall cause a motor vehicle to drive over the curb of any street. All accesses to driveways shall be made by curb cut properly applied for and permitted.
3. 
Paved parking areas may cover no more than 30% of the front yard (or 25% on a corner lot).
4. 
Existing unimproved driveways and parking areas (such as gravel driveways) must be improved to current standards if:
A. 
The driveway or parking area is expanded;
B. 
The size of the home is expanded by more than 25%; or
C. 
The home is destroyed by more than 60% of its value
5. 
Temporary vehicle parking associated with construction or landscaping may be exempt from these parking regulations if the vehicle is removed within 72 hours of completion and the construction activity is compliant with all permits and regulations.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this Part shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed $600, plus costs, and in default of payment of such fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate offense.
