The owner, owners, operator or operators of each and every establishment wherein food or drink is sold or offered for sale or consumption either off or on the premises, shall be required to apply for and obtain from the Board of Health of the Board of East Lansdowne, a license for each and every establishment in the Borough of East Lansdowne so owned or operated.

The fee for each license required by this Part shall be an amount established by Resolution of Council, which shall be collected by the Board of Health at the time a license is issued and remitted by the Board of Health to the Borough of East Lansdowne.

Every establishment wherein food or drink is sold or offered for sale, for consumption either on or off the premises, shall be open at all times for inspections by the Board of Health of the Borough of East Lansdowne or said Board's duly authorized agent, and shall maintain at all times sanitary and health standards set up by the Board of Health of the Borough of East Lansdowne and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and shall comply with any and all rules, regulations and orders of the Board of Health of the Borough of East Lansdowne and/or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provisions of this Part shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $25 and not more than $1,000 plus costs, and in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate offense.
