A. 
A sewer rent is hereby established for all parcels of real estate which use the Village of Corinth sewer system and which are outside the Village. The rate shall be fixed by resolution of the Village Board from time to time.

B. 
Billing. The annual sewer rent shall be billed in installments and on dates fixed by resolution of the Village Board from time to time.

C. 
Penalties shall be assessed on all unpaid sewer rents, as follows:
(1) 
Ten percent of the unpaid rent on the first day of the first month after the bill is rendered, and 1% of the unpaid rent on the first day of every month thereafter, until the entire bill, including penalties, is paid.
(2) 
In addition to the other penalties specified in this Subsection C, a penalty shall be imposed on April 15 of each year, in the amount of $25, with respect to each tax parcel as to which any part of the sewer rent for the year beginning the preceding June 1 remains unpaid as of said April 15.

D. 
The Village Board of Trustees may, by resolution, terminate service to any parcel on which rents remain unpaid for a period exceeding 30 days.
E. 
No refunds shall be made for sewer rents due to termination of service after the commencement of the quarter year during which termination was made.
