This chapter is entitled the "Town of Pacific Town Board General Ordinance." The purpose of this chapter is to confirm the Town Board's authority and provide for those related Town Board matters covered in this chapter. This chapter repeals and replaces any previously adopted Town ordinance as to those matters that are provided for in this chapter.
The Town Board of the Town of Pacific has the specific authority, powers and duties pursuant to §§ 60.10, 60.20, 60.22 and 60.23, Wis. Stats., and has, with authorization of the town meeting, additional statutory authority, powers and duties to manage and direct certain affairs of the Town of Pacific. In addition, the Town Board of the Town of Pacific has additional general and specific statutory authority, powers and duties established beyond Ch. 60, Wis. Stats.
The Town Board of the Town of Pacific has, by adoption of this chapter, confirmed the specific statutory authority, powers and duties of the Town Board of the Town of Pacific established in Ch. 60, Wis. Stats., and has established, pursuant to the above-noted chapter and this chapter, other statutory authority, powers and duties of the Town Board of the Town of Pacific to manage and direct the affairs of the Town of Pacific.

The Town Board shall consist of five Supervisors, elected at large. One of the Supervisors shall be designated as the "Chairperson," to be elected in odd-numbered years. The other four Supervisors shall be elected to unnumbered seats, two to be elected in even-numbered years, and two to be elected in odd-numbered years.
Three Supervisors shall constitute a quorum of the Town Board.
