Except as provided elsewhere in this chapter, penalties and fines for violations of this chapter shall be as provided in the Motor Vehicle Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.[2]

Any person who violates the parking meter provisions of this chapter shall be subject to the following penalties:
A. 
If paid within 48 hours of the time and date after the ticket was issued: $2.
B. 
If paid after 48 hours and within 20 calendar days of the date the ticket was issued: $5.
C. 
If paid 21 calendar days or more after the ticket was issued: $10.
A. 
Issuance of parking meter tickets; notice to Borough officials. It shall be the duty of police officers or any special officer of the Borough to report to the Chief of Police for prosecution and to the Borough Secretary by special parking meter duplicate writings, numbered consecutively, and which contain the following information:
(1) 
In issuing a parking ticket, police officers and/or a parking enforcement officer shall indicate the number of each parking meter and/or its location where the offending vehicle was located and/or occupying a space in violation of this chapter.

(2) 
The date and hour of such violation.
(3) 
The state license number of such vehicle.
(4) 
Any other facts and knowledge of which is necessary to a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending such violation.
B. 
Issuance of parking meter tickets; notice to owner or operator. Each such police officer shall also place on such vehicle a notice to the owner or operator thereof that such vehicle has been parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter and instructing such owner or operator to report at the Police Station in regard to such violation.[1]

Any person who violates provisions of this chapter prohibiting parking in a restricted zone, including but not limited to parking on a street at a time designated for street cleaning of that street, shall be subject to the following fines:
A. 
If the fine is paid within 20 days of the date of issuance of the ticket and/or citation, the fine shall be no less than $10.
B. 
If the fine is paid after 21 or more calendar days after issuance, the fine shall be $20.

Any person who violates the provisions of any ordinance prohibiting parking in a handicapped parking stall or provisions of Section 3354(d) of the Vehicle Code shall pay a fine as provided by 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3354(f) and (g).
