This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Town of
Waterford Rifle Control Law."
The carrying of a rifle afield by a natural person without the permission of the landowner is prohibited in all parts of the Town, except as permitted by § 84-3 of this article.
This article shall not apply to any law enforcement officer
who may carry a rifle in the course of his duties as a law enforcement
officer.

Violations of this article shall be punishable by a fine not
in excess of $250 or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days,
or both.
