There is hereby established the position of Secretary, Zoning/Code Enforcement for the Township of Eagleswood.
The Secretary, Zoning/Code Enforcement shall be appointed by the Township Committee and shall serve for a term of one year, commencing on January 1 of the year of the appointment and ending on December 31, or until a successor shall be appointed and qualified.
To be appointed to the position of Secretary, Zoning/Code Enforcement, an individual must meet the following requirements:
A. 
Read, write, speak and understand the English language sufficiently to perform the duties of the position.
B. 
Possess some knowledge of modern office methods, practices and equipment, of performing routine, repetitive and noncomplex typing work from varied types of copy, and of taking and transcribing dictation of limited complexity.
C. 
Possess the ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written directions.
The duties of the position of Secretary, Zoning/Code Enforcement shall be to perform all of those secretarial and clerical duties of a varied nature and related work as directed. The Secretary, Zoning/Code Enforcement shall perform his or her duties and functions as directed by the Zoning/Code Enforcement Officer.
The salary for the Secretary, Zoning/Code Enforcement shall be established by the Township Committee and shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Salary Ordinance of the Township of Eagleswood.
