The office of Borough Secretary is hereby created. Council shall
appoint a person who shall have the powers and duties as set forth
in 8 Pa.C.S.A. § 1111. The Secretary shall serve at the
pleasure of Council, which shall approve a written plan of compensation
for the Secretary.
The duties of the Borough Secretary shall be as determined by
Council or its designee. Unless otherwise directed by Council, the
Secretary shall be supervised by the Borough Manager. The Borough
Secretary and the Borough Manager may be the same person.
