Super Storm Sandy Recovery and Reconstruction Task Force — See Ch. 118.
There is hereby established a Robin Hood Sandy Relief Fund Committee, which shall be an advisory body responsible for assisting the Township in the identification and qualification of residents in the Township of Little Egg Harbor for storm relief funding provided by the Robin Hood Relief Fund.
A. 
The Robin Hood Sandy Relief Fund Committee shall consist of five members, who shall service without compensation. The members shall be appointed by the Township Committee. A Chair and secretary shall be elected annually from among the members of the Committee. The Chair shall establish the meeting schedule.
B. 
There shall be two alternate members, who shall be appointed by the Township Committee.
A. 
The term of office for the appointed members of the Committee shall be for two years.
B. 
A vacancy on the Committee occurring other than by expiration of term shall be filled for the unexpired term only by the Mayor.
C. 
All terms shall run from January 1 of the year in which the appointment is made.
There shall be not less than four meetings a year. The Chair shall preside at all meetings of the Committee.
Committee members shall design procedures for the disbursement of the Robin Hood Relief Fund grant monies. The Committee shall identify potential recipients and eligible projects for receipt of the monies. The monies shall be used to procure vouchers for the direct purchase of eligible items and/or to pay contractors directly for work completed on eligible projects. The Committee shall report its determinations and recommendations to the Township Committee, which shall control the disbursement of funds.
The Mayor or Township Committee may remove any member of the Committee for cause, on written charges served upon the member and after a hearing thereon at which the member shall be entitled to be heard in person or by counsel.
The task force shall:
A. 
Formulate such recommendations to the Mayor and Township Committee concerning the identification and eligibility of potential recipients of the Robin Hood Sandy Relief Fund grant.
B. 
Formulate procedures for the determination of eligibility for projects.
C. 
Keep records of its meetings and make an annual report to the governing body.
D. 
Perform any other duties as directed by the Mayor and Township Committee.
