Robin Hood Sandy Relief Fund Committee — See Ch. 100.
There is hereby established a Super Storm Sandy Recovery and Reconstruction Task Force, which shall be an advisory body responsible for assisting the Township in the identification and remediation of current and potential obstacles to the rapid recovery and reconstruction of the community from the impact of Super Storm Sandy.
A. 
The Super Storm Sandy Recovery and Reconstruction Task Force shall consist of eight members, who shall service without compensation. The membership shall consist of the Mayor, the Township Administrator or Assistant Township Administrator, the Emergency Management Coordinator, the Floodplain Administrator, and four members to be appointed by the Mayor who are residents of the Township, one of which must be a real estate broker. A Chair and secretary shall be elected annually from among the members of the task force. The Chair shall establish the meeting schedule.
B. 
There shall be two alternate members, who shall be appointed by the Mayor.
A. 
The term of office for the appointed members of the task force shall be for three years.
B. 
A vacancy on the task force occurring other than by expiration of term shall be filled for the unexpired term only by the Mayor.
C. 
All terms shall run from January 1 of the year in which the appointment is made.
There shall be not less than four meetings a year. The Chair shall preside at all meetings of the task force.
Task force members shall work to fulfill the mission of the task force, under the leadership and direction of the Chair. Members shall attend business meetings and shall use their talents and resources to support the achievement of task force goals.
The Mayor or Township Committee may remove any member of the task force for cause, on written charges served upon the member and after a hearing thereon at which the member shall be entitled to be heard in person or by counsel.
The task force shall:
A. 
Formulate such recommendations to the Mayor and Township Committee concerning the identification and remediation of current and potential obstacles to the rapid recovery and reconstruction of the community from the impact of Super Storm Sandy.
B. 
Seek alternative sources of funding for recovery and reconstruction for the community.
C. 
Keep records of its meetings and make an annual report to the governing body.
D. 
Perform any other duties as directed by the Mayor and Township Committee.
