Any person who requests the Town Clerk or Town Treasurer to research, compile, assemble, provide and/or create a record or report in a form not created, kept, and maintained in the usual and ordinary course of Town business, including but not limited to information and data relating to special assessments, zoning, and delinquent taxes, shall be charged a fee for said service.
A. 
The fee charged shall be as set by the Town Board.[1] Said fee shall be made payable to the Town of Addison and shall immediately be deposited in the general fund.[2]

B. 
This provision shall apply only to records and reports in a form not created, kept, and maintained in the normal and ordinary course of Town business. When Town documents and records in the form kept by the Town in the usual and ordinary course of business are requested, they shall be provided pursuant to the provisions of § 19.35, Wis. Stats.
C. 
Data, records, reports, and information from governmental entities other than the Town shall not be researched, obtained, compiled, or provided to requesters by employees of the Town pursuant to this article.
