[Adopted 7-6-1970 as § 5-3 of Ch. 5 of the Revised General Ordinances]
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
LIVESTOCK
All horses, ponies, donkeys, mules, miniature breeds and all other equine; all domestic and exotic pigs, hogs, and other swine; all cattle, goats, sheep, and all other bovine; all llamas, alpacas, camels, and all other camelids; all chickens, ducks, geese, guinea hens, peacocks, turkeys, emus, rheas, and all other poultry and fowl; and all other animals traditionally raised for food, fiber, fur, or production means.

No livestock as defined herein shall be permitted in any residential, business, commercial or industrial zone within the Borough; however, livestock may be conditionally permitted in a residential zone wherein the lot has a minimum of five acres.

No person owning, keeping or harboring livestock shall permit any one or more of the animals to run at large in the public streets or in any other public place within the Borough.
No person owning, keeping or harboring livestock shall permit any animals to cause injury or damage to any lawn, shrubbery, flowers, grounds or other property.
