As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
meaning indicated:
Normal household solid waste generated by the use of a single-family
or multifamily dwelling within the Township, provided that the term
shall not include:
The contractor providing regular scheduled pickup of garbage
from single-family or multifamily dwellings pursuant to a contract
between the Township and the contractor.

Every owner, tenant or occupant of a single-family or multifamily
dwelling within the Township who desires to have garbage picked up
by the municipal contractor shall affix to each bag of garbage, or
place at the top of each container of garbage so as to be clearly
visible when the lid is removed, an official sticker issued upon payment
of a fee therefor established by resolution of the Township Committee.
Each sticker shall bear a weight limitation, and the fee charged for
each sticker shall be related to the disposal cost or tipping fee
charged by the County solid waste transfer station.

Every resolution adopted by the Township Committee establishing any
garbage sticker fee shall be published in full as a legal notice of
the Township.

The provisions of this article shall only be applicable during periods
when the Township is providing garbage collection service by a municipal
contractor.
