The Township Clerk shall prepare, maintain and keep on file
for public inspection a house number map for the Township upon which
shall be entered the numbers assigned by the Township Clerk to each
and every house and other principal building fronting on any street
or road within the Township. The Township Clerk shall add to the house
number map the numbers which the Township Clerk shall assign to newly
constructed houses and principal buildings.
Within 30 days after the receipt of written notification from the Township Clerk of the number assigned to a house or other principal building in accordance with the provisions of § 234-1, the owner or occupant thereof shall, at the expense of such owner or occupant, cause the number assigned to be displayed in such manner as to be clearly visible from the street upon which the house or building fronts.
