A. 
Rental rates and charges. Each and every property or premises within the Township which is or shall be connected with any portion of the sewer system of the Township shall, from and after the date of the permit for the connection, be subject to sanitary sewer rental rates and charges as set forth by the Township.
B. 
Semiannual payment. Sewer rates shall be payable to the Division of Revenue Collection in equal semiannual installments due on the first day of March and the first day of October.
C. 
Charges for additional services. The Township shall have the power to fix any just and reasonable monthly or annual rate or charge in addition to the above rates and charges for the disposal of large volumes of water or trade waste, if this disposal shall be permitted.
D. 
Rates and changes. The Township expressly reserves the right to change by ordinance at any time any of the rates, charges or impositions set forth in this section or hereafter fixed or established.
E. 
Council to set interest rates. Each sewer rate or charge shall, from the time it shall become due and payable and during the period within which it shall remain unpaid, draw or bear interest thereon at a rate established by the Council.
F. 
Lien. Each sewer rate or charge shall, from the time it shall become due and payable and during the period within which it shall remain unpaid, be and remain a lien upon and against the property or premises; each sewer rate or charge shall, after the same shall have become due and remain unpaid, be collected, together with interest thereon, in the same manner as is or shall be provided by law for the collection of taxes upon or against real estate.
G. 
Disconnection. In addition to, and exclusive of, any other remedy provided in this section, if any sewer rate shall become due and remain unpaid, the facilities of the Wastewater Utility or any portion thereof may be disconnected from the property or premises upon or against which the rate or charge shall have been imposed, and when any disconnection shall have been made, the facilities of the Wastewater Utility or a portion thereof shall not be reconnected to any property or premises until the amount of the delinquent rate or charge, with interest thereon, together with the charges for the disconnection and reconnection, shall have been paid.
H. 
Tabulation of fees.
(1) 
Residential.

(a) 
Single-family, per year: $390.
(b) 
Multifamily (apartments, duplexes, mobile home parks and motels), per unit, per year: $390.
(2) 
Commercial. Each separate office, store or similar place of business with separate restrooms is to be considered a separate commercial unit: $195 per year per unit plus $6.55 per 1,000 gallons of metered water used, based upon metered water consumption, with a minimum annual fee of $390 per unit.
