There are 10 1/2 Volunteer Fire Departments (whose members
are not a part of the County governmental system in any fashion) located
in the County; in addition, there is the Henderson City-County Rescue
Squad. There are listed as follows:
The Volunteer Fire Chiefs Association, composed of the Fire
Chiefs of the volunteer fire departments listed above, meets once
each month. This association is separate from the County.

Rates and charges for ambulance services shall be established
by the third-party vendor in accordance with the current emergency
ambulance services contract.

Other ambulance services shall be negotiated between the City
of Henderson, the Henderson County Fiscal Court and the person, firm
or corporation desiring ambulance service.
