The compensation of each councilman of the Borough of Hamburg
shall be $900 per annum and the compensation of the President of Council
shall be $1,200 per annum, each payable monthly, and shall be paid
from the Borough Treasury.

Each councilman shall receive the aforesaid compensation monthly
upon condition that each councilman shall not be absent for more than
three regular meetings during any calendar year. A councilman may
be paid the monthly compensation even though he is absent for more
than three meetings during a calendar year but only upon approval
of Borough Council.
