It shall be unlawful for any person to build or maintain any fire upon any street or alley in the Borough of Hamburg or on any public grounds except as authorized by ordinance prescribing rules and regulations for parks, playgrounds and other outdoor recreation places.

It shall be unlawful for any person to build or maintain any fire, out of doors, upon private property in the Borough of Hamburg, except for the purpose of cooking and for such purposes such fires shall be contained in stoves, fireplaces and grills constructed and intended for the purpose of outdoor cooking.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not more than $600 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate offense.
