A.
These
regulations, adopted pursuant to the provisions of Sections 89.410
et seq., RSMo., are intended to serve the following purposes:
1.
To set forth rules and regulations for the division of real property
into subdivisions;
2.
To provide for the coordinated development of the municipality;
3.
To provide for the coordination of streets within subdivisions with
other existing or planned streets or with other features of the City
Plan;
4.
To provide for adequate open space for traffic, recreation, light
and air; and
5.
To provide for a distribution of population and traffic.
