There is hereby imposed a fine for dumping rubbish beside the road. The fine shall be adopted by the Board of Selectmen and on file with the Town Manager and on the Town of Salem website. The fine shall not exceed the maximum penalty established pursuant to RSA 31:39, III.

No trash, refuse or rubbish shall be transported over the public highways in motor vehicles or trailers of any type unless covered or secured in such a manner that said trash, refuse or rubbish will not fall from or be blown from the motor vehicles or trailers.

Fines for violation of the provisions of this article, as adopted by the Board of Selectmen, are on file with the Town Manager and on the Town of Salem website. Fines shall not exceed the maximum penalty established pursuant to RSA 31:39, III.
