A. 
The Police Records Clerk for the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, is hereby appointed Custodian of Records for all records pertaining to the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, Police Department, and said Custodian may be contacted at 4400 Shrewsbury Avenue, Shrewsbury, Missouri, 63119. The Fire Department Secretary of the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, is hereby appointed Custodian of Records for all records for the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, Fire Department, and said Custodian may be contacted at 4400 Shrewsbury Avenue, Shrewsbury, Missouri, 63119. The Courts Administrator of the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, is hereby appointed Custodian of Records for all records for the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, Municipal Courts, and said Custodian may be contacted at 4400 Shrewsbury Avenue, Shrewsbury, Missouri, 63119. The City Clerk of Shrewsbury, Missouri, is hereby appointed Custodian of Records for all other records of the City of Shrewsbury not otherwise referenced in this Section, and said Custodian may be contacted at 5200 Shrewsbury Avenue, Shrewsbury, Missouri, 63119.
B. 
The respective custodian shall respond to all requests for access to or copies of a public record within the time period provided by statute except in those circumstances authorized by statute.
C. 
The fees to be charged for access to or furnishing copies of records shall be consistent with the maximum amounts set forth in Section 610.026, RSMo., in which fees do not exceed the actual cost. Copies will be charged at ten cents ($0.10) per page. Hourly fees for duplication will be charged at the average hourly rate of pay for clerical staff. Research time for fulfilling record requests will be charged at the actual cost of research time.
D. 
It is the public policy of the City of Shrewsbury that meeting records, votes, actions, and deliberations of this body shall be open to the public unless otherwise provided by law.
E. 
The Custodians referenced herein shall comply with Sections 610.010 to 610.035 RSMo., known as the "Sunshine Law," as now existing or hereafter amended.
