No person under the age of seventeen (17) years shall be in
any public place or on any public roadway in the City of Knob Noster
between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M., unless such person
is then accompanied by a parent or guardian; such person is on a lawful
errand or other business, directed by such person's parent or guardian;
such person is engaged in lawful, gainful employment or is in route
to or returning from such employment; or is in route to, attending
or returning from any organized school or religious function.
A.
No
person under the age of seventeen (17) years shall be on public property
of the City of Knob Noster during formal school attendance days unless
such person is accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or is at his
or her designated workplace.
B.
Any
person under the age of seventeen (17) years observed to be violating
this Section, shall be referred to the 17th Judicial Circuit Juvenile
Office for disposition.
A.
No
person shall be or remain in any public park in the City of Knob Noster
between sundown and 7:00 A.M. unless such person is a member of a
group, association or organization using such park facilities for
a purpose within the scope of written permission previously granted
to a representative of such group, association or organization by
a municipal official of the City of Knob Noster.
B.
No
person shall operate any motorized vehicle on any park grounds, other
than its parking lot, except utility-company vehicles, municipal vehicles,
emergency vehicles or a vehicle previously authorized by a municipal
official of the City of Knob Noster to operate on park grounds.
C.
No
person shall operate any motor vehicle on the concrete surface or
playing areas in the Knob Noster City Park.
B.
When any Police Officer observes any person under the age of seventeen (17) years violating the provisions of Sections 210.1970, 210.1980 or 210.1990, he/she shall deliver a written warning to such person directing him or her to immediately desist from such violation, a copy of which he/she shall cause to be sent to the parent, guardian or person in charge of such person under the age of seventeen (17) years. No parent, guardian or person in charge of such person under the age of seventeen (17) years shall thereafter knowingly permit such person under the age of seventeen (17) years to subsequently violate the provisions of Sections 210.1970, 210.1980 or 210.1990.
C.
A
copy of the written warning described in the foregoing Subsection
may be served by leaving a copy of it at the residence of such parent,
guardian or person in charge of the person under the age of seventeen
(17) years with any person at such residence who is over the age of
seventeen (17) years, or by mailing such notice to the last-known
address of such parent, guardian or person in charge of such person
under the age of seventeen (17) years, after which knowledge of subsequent
violations shall be presumed.
