A. 
No more than two (2) garage or yard sales may be held within a one-year period on any residentially zoned property. In addition, no person may conduct a garage or yard sale more frequently than once every six (6) months.
B. 
Any garage or yard sale shall be confined to the period between 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. of any day and shall not extend in excess of three (3) consecutive days. No garage or yard sale shall be permitted on any Sunday. Signs shall not be placed on utility poles or within public right-of-way. All signs shall be removed within twenty-four (24) hours of the conclusion of the sale date(s).
C. 
Definitions. "Garage or yard sales" are all sales of tangible personal property whereby the public at large is, or can be, made aware of the sale. "Tangible personal property" is all personal property which is owned, utilized or maintained by an individual or members of his/her residence and acquired in the normal course of living in or maintaining a residence. It does not include merchandise which is purchased for resale or obtained on consignment.
