City of Washington, MO Chapter 635 Temporary and Seasonal Roadside Stands

Section 635.010 Permits Required.

A. No roadside stand shall be maintained at a given location for a period of more than ten (10) days within a given year without securing a special use permit as provided in Sections 400.205 to 400.240 inclusive.

B. No roadside stand shall be maintained at a given location for a period of ten (10) days or less within a given year without first having obtained a permit to do so. A roadside stand permit shall be issued by the City Collector upon application and payment of the appropriate license fee pursuant to Section 605.160.

Section 635.020 Exemption For Not-For-Profit Entities.

No permit to maintain a roadside stand shall be required of any benevolent, religious, charitable, fraternal or scientific organization or association.
