A Regional Board of Appeals is established by the Beaver County Regional Council of Governments in accordance with the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act,[1] as amended from time to time.

The Regional Board of Appeals will be applicable to the Township of Darlington in matters relating to the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act, as amended from time to time, providing a process for challenging decisions made by the Building Code Official as employed by or retained by the Township of Darlington.
The Township of Darlington, through its membership in the Beaver County Regional Council of Governments and through its appointed, voting delegate, will have a vote on the selection of qualified members on the Regional Board of Appeals.
The Township of Darlington agrees to enter into an intergovernmental cooperation agreement with the Beaver County Regional Council of Governments in order to effectuate the provisions of this chapter.
