It is hereby declared to be the policy of the Village of East Troy to assure equal opportunity to all persons to live in adequate housing facilities regardless of sex, race, color, sexual orientation, disability, religion, national origin, marital status, family status, status as a victim of domestic abuse, sexual assault or stalking, lawful source of income, age or ancestry and, to that end, to prohibit discrimination in housing by any persons.

A. 
Adopted by reference. The statutory provisions of § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and subsequent amendments thereto, are hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as if fully set forth herein.
B. 
Implementation. The officials and employees of the Village of East Troy shall assist in the orderly prevention and removal of all discrimination in housing within the Village of East Troy by implementing the authority and enforcement procedures set forth in § 106.50, Wis. Stats.

The Village Clerk shall maintain forms for complaints to file under § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and shall assist any person alleging a violation thereof in the Village of East Troy to file a complaint thereunder with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development for enforcement of § 106.50, Wis. Stats.
