[Ord. No. 1825, 5-13-1991]
If the Preservation Commission denies an application for a certificate
of appropriateness, the applicant may, within thirty (30) days after
the post-marked date of the notice of the determination, file with
the City Clerk a written appeal to the Harrisonville Board of Aldermen
specifying the grounds thereof. In acting on the appeal, the Board
of Aldermen may grant a variance from the strict interpretation of
this Chapter when such will not materially affect the health or safety
of the applicant and the general public.
