A. 
First class sidewalks shall be sixteen (16) feet wide and of smooth uniform surface and curbing and shall be constructed of either good hand-sawed flag stone not less than four (4) inches thick or of a composition of gravel and cement not less than six (6) inches thick.
B. 
Second class sidewalks shall be eight (8) feet wide and of smooth uniform surface and curbing and shall be constructed of either good sawed flag stone not less than three (3) inches thick or of a composition of gravel and cement not less than six (6) inches thick.
C. 
Third class sidewalks shall be four (4) feet wide and of smooth uniform surface and curbing and shall be constructed of either good sawed flag stone not less than three (3) inches thick or of a composition of gravel and cement not less than four (4) inches thick.
D. 
Curbing.
1. 
All curbing for first class sidewalks shall be of good hand-sawed flag stone five (5) inches thick by sixteen (16) inches in width and two (2) feet long or shall be made of a composition of gravel and cement five (5) inches thick and sixteen (16) inches deep or wide.
2. 
All curbing for second class sidewalks shall be of good hand-sawed flag stone four (4) inches thick or shall be made of a composition of gravel and cement four (4) inches thick.
3. 
All curbing for third class sidewalks shall be of good sawed flag stone three (3) inches thick or shall be made of a composition of gravel and cement three (3) inches thick.
