Section 605.230 License — Required.

A. No person shall engage in, participate in, aid, form or start any parade without first obtaining a license as provided by Section 605.240 of this Article.

B. No person shall engage in, participate in, aid, form or start any parade in violation of any of the regulations of this Code.

Section 605.240 License — Application — Contents.

A. Application for a parade license shall be signed by the parties conducting the affair and shall be filed with the City not less than thirty (30) days in advance of the event.

B. The license shall state the:

1. Name of the licensee;

2. Purpose for which the license is granted;

3. Length of time for which the license is granted;

4. Place or route of the parade;

5. Character and unit number in parade; and

6. Other information as the nature of the event may indicate.

Upon compliance with the provisions of this Article and approval by the Board of Aldermen, the City Administrator shall issue the license required by this Article.
