All public streets, watercourses, public grounds and any other designated elements listed in § 68-8A of this chapter, as shown on a final, recorded subdivision plat or land development plan which has been approved in accordance with either the Lancaster County or Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (as may be adopted),[1] shall be deemed to be amendments to the Official Map. No public hearing or public notice shall be required if the amendment of the Official Map is the result of the such final, recorded subdivision plat or land development plan.

All other amendments of the Official Map shall be in accordance with the procedures established by Article IV of this chapter and as set forth in 53 P.S. §§ 10402 and 10408 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.
