A.
Service. Untransformed electric service from the three-phase primary supply lines of the Borough at 4,160 volts shall be provided where the customer shall provide, install, own and maintain any transforming, switching and receiving equipment required. Any transforming equipment shall be provided, installed, owned and maintained by the customer or provided by the Borough as stated under Article VIII of this chapter.
B.
Service rates. Primary service rates shall be established and changed from time to time by resolution of the Lansdale Borough Council.
The billing demand for a billing month shall be the highest fifteen-minute demand measuring during the billing month.
The billing energy shall be the total kilowatt hours measured during the billing period. If current is measured at secondary voltage, the total kilowatt hours measured will be increased by 3% for transformer losses.
The power factor shall be determined from time to time by test (or by continuous monitoring) at a time when the customer's load is not less than 2/3 of the maximum registered demand in the preceding 11 months. At the discretion of the Borough, if this test power factor is less than 95%, the measured demand shall be increased by the ratio between 95% and the power factor determined by test to determine the billing demand.
