The office of Assistant Treasurer of the City is hereby created.

The Mayor, with the consent and approval of the majority of
the members of the Board of Aldermen, shall have the power to appoint
an Assistant Treasurer who shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor
and Board of Aldermen.

The duties of the office of the Assistant Treasurer shall be
consistent with those of the office of the Treasurer.
