A.
The Mayor, with the consent and approval of the Board of Aldermen
shall appoint some qualified person to the office of City Collector.
B.
The City Collector shall have those duties as described by Missouri
law and the City of Woodson Terrace ordinances, including, but not
limited to, collection of business taxes, licenses, all business and
resident permits, to report collection of such taxes and permits to
the Board monthly, and further to maintain a current list of all businesses
in his/her office.
C.
The City Collector position may be a full-time position or a part-time
position as directed by the Mayor of the City. The person appointed
Collector may also act as assistant to the Mayor, the City Clerk,
Director of Economic Development, and to the Finance Manager of the
City, and perform other duties as directed by those officials.
