A. 
In addition to any fine that may be imposed by the Municipal Judge, there shall be assessed as costs in all cases the following:
1. 
Costs of Court in the amount of twelve dollars ($12.00).
2. 
Other costs, such as for the issuance of a warrant, a commitment, or a summons, as provided before the associate Circuit Judge in criminal prosecutions.
3. 
Jail costs (Per diem basis): Actual cost charged to the City.
4. 
In addition to any fine or other costs that may be imposed by the Municipal Judge, there shall be assessed as costs in all cases, except those dismissed by the Court, the sum of two dollars ($2.00) for the training of Peace Officers. This fee shall be transmitted monthly to the Finance Manager of the City. An additional one dollar ($1.00) shall be assessed as costs in all cases, except those dismissed by the Court. This fee shall be deposited with the Treasurer of the State in the Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission Fund to be used statewide for training of Peace Officers.
5. 
The Municipal Division of the City of Woodson Terrace shall assess as additional costs in each case where a defendant is found guilty or pleads guilty of violation of any ordinance of the City of Woodson Terrace, including a non-moving traffic offense, the sum of seven dollars fifty cents ($7.50) for the Crime Victims Compensation Fund. Such sum shall be collected along with other Court costs. Ninety-five percent (95%) of such sum shall be remitted to the State of Missouri for deposit to the Crime Victims' Compensation Fund pursuant to Section 595.045, RSMo., and five percent (5%) thereof paid to the Finance Manager.

6. 
Reimbursement of costs of arrest.

a. 
Upon a plea of guilty or a finding of guilty (including if a person is placed on probation) for an offense of violating the provisions of City ordinances involving alcohol- or drug-related traffic offenses, the Municipal Court may, in addition to other costs and fines provided by law or the ordinances of the City, order a defendant to reimburse the City of Woodson Terrace for the costs associated with such an arrest.
b. 
Such costs shall include the reasonable costs of making the arrest, including the cost of any chemical, blood, breath or other test to determine the alcohol or drug content of the defendant's blood and the cost of processing, charging, booking and holding such person in custody.
c. 
The Chief of Police shall establish a schedule of such costs and certify the same to the Clerk of the Court, but the Court may order the costs reduced if it determines the costs are excessive.
d. 
Such additional surcharges shall be collected in the same manner as other costs and fines.
7. 
In addition to any other fine and costs that may be imposed by the Municipal Judge, there shall be assessed a two dollar ($2.00) surcharge on every case, except those dismissed by the court, for the maintenance, repair and replacement of the information sharing or biometric verification system, and also to pay for any expenses relating to detention, custody, housing and other expenses for inmates, prisoners and detainees.

8. 
In addition to any cost which may be assessed by the municipal division pursuant to Statute, ordinance or Court rule, in every proceeding filed in the municipal division for violation of an ordinance, a surcharge of seven dollars ($7.00) shall be assessed. Such surcharge shall also be assessed in cases in which pleas of guilty are processed in the Violations Bureau. No such surcharge shall be collected when the proceeding or defendant has been dismissed by the Court, when costs are waived or when costs are paid to the City. Such surcharge shall be collected by the Municipal Court and transmitted monthly to the Missouri Director of Revenue to the credit of the Missouri Statewide Court Automation Fund as provided in Section 488.012.3(5) and Section 488.027.2, RSMo.

Editor's Note: Ord. No. 1960 additionally stated the $7.00 surcharge set out herein shall be assessed for all cases in which there has not been any prior adjudication by, or filed after, that certain date that the Office of State Court Administrators has advised that the "Show Me Courts" system is implemented by the Municipal Division of the City of Woodson Terrace.

When a fine is assessed for violating an ordinance, it shall be within the discretion of the Judge assessing the fine to provide for the payment of a fine on an installment basis under such terms and conditions as he/she may deem appropriate.
