The Seal heretofore provided and used by and for the City as
its Official Seal is hereby established and continued as the Official
Seal of the City.
The City Clerk shall have custody of and shall safely keep the
Seal of the City. He shall cause the City Seal to be affixed to instruments
and writings as he shall be authorized to do by any ordinance or resolution
of the City Council or when necessary to exemplify any document or
record in his office or to certify any account or paper which shall
appear, from the records in his office, to have been a public act
of the City or any other public documents requiring such seal to be
affixed thereto.
