Pursuant to § 7-41C of this Code, the administration and maintenance of City cemeteries shall be under the charge and control of the Department of Public Works. Said Department shall administer City cemeteries pursuant to law. It shall trim, plant, care for and preserve such cemeteries.

There shall be provided a permanent fund for the care of the lots and the preservation of City cemeteries. At least the sum of 25% of all receipts from the sale of lots in such cemeteries shall be set apart in such fund by the Department of Public Works.

The following fees are established:
A. 
For opening a grave in lot:
(1) 
For an infant to three months of age, the fee shall be $200.
(2) 
For a child three months to six years of age, the fee shall be $350.
(3) 
For every person over six years of age, the fee shall be $650.
B. 
There are no graves available for purchase.
C. 
For the purchase of any lots should they become available, the cost shall be $750.
D. 
For foundations:
(1) 
The minimum charge for a stone up to two feet in length shall be $275.
(2) 
For a stone from two to three feet in length, the charge shall be $400.
(3) 
For a stone from three to four feet in length, the charge shall be $500.
E. 
For cremated ashes, the charge for burial shall be $200.
F. 
For welfare burials and old age pensioners, the fee shall be the same as in Subsection A.
G. 
For a tent, the fee shall be $58.
H. 
For removals:
(1) 
Fees.
(a) 
For removal of a body from one grave or lot to another grave or lot in Camden New Cemetery:

For the removal, the fee shall be double the opening fee.
[2] 
For a new opening, the fee shall be $650.
(b) 
For removal of a body for burial in a cemetery other than Camden New Cemetery, the fee shall be $700.
I. 
The fee for opening on Saturdays after 12:00 noon and on Sundays and holidays shall be double the fee for openings established herein.
J. 
A deed may be issued to replace a deed that has been lost, mislaid or destroyed. The fee shall be $200.
K. 
Transfer of title to a lot may be issued for a fee of $200.
L. 
For burial of members of the Armed Forces and veterans of the military, the charges for the opening in Soldier's Row shall be $500. This rate shall be applicable only upon presentation of the decedent's certificate of honorable discharge.

All stones, monuments and markers, regardless of size, shall have a foundation which shall be laid by employees of the City of Camden or contractors of the City.

When it is determined to raise or straighten a monument which has sunk, employees of the City of Camden and/or contractors of the City shall lay the foundation for such stone. The fee for foundations established in this chapter shall be charged therefor.
